Naza Hidalgo (she/her/ella)
¡Hola! I'm Naza, a Latina children's book illustrator based in Costa Rica.​
​
As a kid, I loved drawing and expressing myself creatively every chance I got. As an adult, I studied a BA (2018) and a Licenciatura in Visual Arts with Emphasis on Graphic Design (2021) from the Universidad de Costa Rica.
My illustrations, whether digital or traditional, are vivid, colorful, and full of the joy found when kids are at play.
I really enjoy exploring the nature of Costa Rica,
where I often find myself inspired by its beautiful
animals and wonderful landscapes.
I like to capture in my work the different and vibrant shades of everyday life, whether in simple details, emotions, or fleeting moments that remain forever
in memory.
